  Food is decent, but on the expensive side for what you get. Don't plan on lunch during the week if you have a job to get back to. A diner packed with senior citizen snow-birds seems to overwhelm the chef, leading to loooong wait times (almost an hour wait for a cheeseburger).
  
  During that time, the waitstaff checked on me not one single time.
  
  Ended up having to get the meal to go...and the fries were cold already! No telling how long it had been sitting before it was brought out to me.
  
  On the plus side, they gave me a generous $1 discount for wasting my lunch hour I. Their fine establishment.

  One of the worst places I have ever eaten. My table was sticky. When I went to pay at the register the floor was sticky. The "famous" Greek salad was iceburg lettuce, a tomatoe, a drop of fetta cheese and not yummy dressing. The fried green tomatoes were nasty. Everything was a fail. Not impressed and would never be back.

  A group of us went out to catch up and decided to do so here. It was a pleasant experience. A mural of gorgeous downtown lakeland was painted on the wall as well as the hotness that is Elvis Presley. Our waitress was always making sure we were ok and when we ordered she let us know that there was gonna be a short wait and she offered us appetizers while we waited. Which of course we got, fried green tomatoes which were simply perfect. She was always smiling and happy to take our order and help us. I am looking forward to going back for the Friday all you can eat fish fry.
